Entering my fourth year of food styling work for Dôme Café Group, the 2019 Winter Seasonal Menu was a real pleasure to be a part of. This time we introduced more colour and props, giving a real sense of warmth and depth to the images.
Meticulous in their efforts to offer a true representation of the dish their guests will receive, Dôme has trodden the path of propping and embellishments with care. The exact portion of food is always used, and until recently it was always photographed on the same white plates. Although we had started introducing a small amount of colour and texture over a period of time, this menu has gone to another level without compromising the integrity of the offer.
And it’s always a pleasure to be a part of the “dream team” that includes seasoned photographer Leon Bird!
