Long, hot days call for refreshing non-alcoholic drinks..

The long, hot days of Summer go hand in hand with icy cold, non-alcoholic drinks designed to hydrate and refresh as well as taste good. Key components are ice – lots of ice!; citrus, berries & pomegranate; mint sprigs; and to add to the flavour mix in a dash of lime cordial, or a hit of lemon, lime and bitters.

Pomegranate seeds, strawberries, soda, and heart-shaped ice make a festive, non-alcoholic drink that can be enjoyed anywhere, any time. (And who says you can’t add champagne if it’s a celebration!)

Pretty as a picture, and oh, so simple..  lemon, lime and bitters cordial with soda and wedges of orange and lemon.

The temperatures are climbing and it’s hot, hot, hot! Fill a jug with ice, lime cordial or fresh lime juice, mint sprigs, and lime wedges, top it up with soda and head for the shade. Nojito, anyone?
